Flourless Hemp Chocolate Chunk Cookies

An opportunity to farm for profit

by Mark Yannone

Speaking of their hempseed bread, one bakery reports, "We can't keep it in stock in our cafe in Minneapolis. Individuals come in buying six loaves at a time."

When Mexican farmers start to grow and process industrial hemp instead of marijuana, Mexico's economy will go through the roof, and the exodus of Mexican laborers from the United States will send a shock wave through America's economy. Fortunately, hemp will grow nicely in the United States too.

Hemp for clothing

The properties of hemp fiber make it ideal for clothing.

Hemp History 101

This is a remarkable history of an invaluable plant that the United States federal government had the audacity to ban in 1937. Canada followed in 1938, but has since lifted that ban. To this day, Americans have to depend on Canada for their hemp supplies.

Imagine allowing a servant government to outlaw such a valuable plant. Are we insane? The federal government has no legal or moral authority to ban the growth of hemp. Federal legislation to "legalize" hemp is ridiculous and should be laughed off the stage.

Hemp Revolution

Part 1

Part 2

They run from the cure

Fortunately, the efficacy of hemp oil and other herbs does not depend on the outcome of a vote, and self-ownership can never be denied, no matter how much someone else would like to control you.

Hemp History

8000 BC
Hemp is woven into fabric and grows in popularity over time on a global scale to eventually provide over 80% of all textiles and fabrics, including over 50% of the fabric called linen.

2700 BC
Cannabis, as hemp fabric and cordage, medicine, and food, has been incorporated into virtually all cultures of the Middle East, Asia Minor, India, China, Japan, and Africa.

2300 BC
Nomadic tribes from the East migrate into the Mediterranean regions and eventually Europe, introducing hemp along the way.

1000 BC to 1883 AD
Hemp is the world's largest agricultural crop, providing materials to support civilization's most important industries, including fiber for fabric and rope, lamp oil for lighting, paper, medicine and food for both humans and domesticated animals. [Continue]

Timeline of Misinformation

1898
Hearst newspapers denounce Spaniards, Mexican-Americans, and Latinos after the seizure of 800,000 acres of Hearst-owned prime Mexican timber land by the "marijuana smoking army of Pancho Villa."

Vigorous slander of the Mexican people continues in Hearst and other publications for three decades. Because of Hearst's personal prejudices against African-Americans and Hispanics and Hearst's covert motivations to link them with the proliferation of an "evil drug," the term "marijuana"--a word totally unfamiliar to the average hemp-using American--is used exclusively to identify hemp throughout this public disinformation campaign.

Shelled Hemp Seed

Hemp is a form of the same plant as marijuana that generally has much lower levels of the psychoactive cannabinoid compounds. The seed and seed oil have probably been used for food, cooking, and lamp oil in Asia and North Africa for millennia. Hemp is believed to come from China. The nutty seeds normally have a hard shell which has to be removed to make it edible. Today, in order to be legal in most countries, the seeds must be treated so that they cannot be planted and grown. [Continue]

Hemp Seed: The Most Nutritionally Complete Food Source in the World

by Lynn Osburn

Part One

Seeds of the plant cannabis sativa, hemp seed, contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids necessary to maintain healthy human life. No other single plant source has the essential amino acids in such an easily digestible form, nor has the essential fatty acids in as perfect a ratio to meet human nutritional needs. [Continue]

Part Two: Hemp Seed Oils and the Flow of Life Force

Hemp seed oil comprises 35% of the total seed weight. This oil has the lowest amount of saturated fatty acids at 8%, and the highest amount of the polyunsaturated essential fatty acids at 80%, total oil volume. Flax seed oil comes in second at 72% combined total essential fatty acids.

Linoleic acid (LA) and linolenic acid (LNA) cannot be made by the human body and must be obtained through the diet, so they are called essential fatty acids (EFA). LA and LNA are the most important fatty acids in human nutrition and health. They are involved in producing life energy from food and the movement of that energy throughout the body. EFAs govern growth, vitality and state of mind. Still, much is unknown about their functioning in the body. [Continue]
